Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Big Show Golf app and website ("Big Show Golf", "we"). By creating an account or using Big Show Golf you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The short version: keep the trash talk about the golf. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We review every report within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and remove the people who post it.

Community guidelines

Each game has a gallery where players chat, react and share photos. When you post there (or anywhere in Big Show Golf), you agree not to post:

Hate speech, slurs, or attacks on anyone because of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other part of who they are.
Threats, harassment, bullying or intimidation.
Sexual content or nudity.
Violent, graphic or illegal content, or anything that encourages harm.
Spam, scams, or ads for gambling or betting sites.
Someone else's private information, or photos of people who didn't agree to be shared.
Photos of people undressed, changing or relieving themselves, even as a joke.

Ribbing your friends about a missed putt is fine. Going after who they are is not.

Reporting, blocking and filtering

Report: press and hold any gallery message and choose Report. Reports go to the Big Show Golf team, and the person you report isn't told who reported them. A message reported by more than one player is hidden for everyone until we review it.
Take down a photo of you: press and hold a photo you're in and choose This Is Me, Take It Down. It's hidden for everyone right away and our team reviews it. Game managers can also delete any message in their game.
Block: press and hold a message and choose Block. You won't see that person's messages, reactions or invites. You can unblock in Profile → Privacy & Safety.
Language filter: slurs and hate speech are always hidden. You can also choose to hide swearing, sexual language and insults in Profile → Privacy & Safety.

What we do about it

We review reports within 24 hours. We may remove any content that breaks these terms, and we may suspend or permanently remove the account of anyone who breaks them, without notice. Serious threats may be reported to the authorities.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Big Show Golf.
Give accurate information, keep your password private, and don't use someone else's account.
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account) or on our account deletion page.

Your content

You own what you post. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people it's meant for (the players in your game, or anyone with a results link a player creates) so the app works. You're responsible for what you post.

Money

Big Show Golf doesn't take, hold or pay out money. Buy-ins and payouts shown in the app are for keeping track among friends only. You're responsible for following the laws where you play.

Free use, the free trial and paid plans

Playing is free: anyone can join games they're invited to, enter scores, see leaderboards and results, and use the chat. The free version shows ads, which the Player plan removes. Setting up and running games, tee sheets, groups and leagues is free during a trial that starts when you set up your first game and ends after 5 of your games have been played or 90 days, whichever comes first; after that it needs a Pro or Club plan. Each person gets one trial. Paid plans renew automatically until canceled, and you can cancel anytime: App Store plans in your iPhone's Settings, plans bought on our website from Your plan. Canceling stops the next renewal; you keep the plan until the end of the period you've paid for. Prices are shown before you buy.

The service

We work hard to keep Big Show Golf running and accurate, but it's provided "as is". Scores, handicaps, course information and results may contain mistakes, and the app may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it. We may change or stop features, and we may update these terms; if the changes are important we'll let you know in the app.
