Getting the app and signing up

Install Big Show Golf on your iPhone and make your account with email or Continue with Apple.

Big Show Golf is an iPhone app. While it's in beta, you install it through Apple's TestFlight app from an invite. Once it's in the App Store, search for Big Show Golf.

Install the beta

1. Open the TestFlight invite email or link you were sent, on your iPhone.
2. Install TestFlight from the App Store if you don't have it.
3. Tap Accept, then Install next to Big Show Golf.

Make your account

Open the app and choose one:

• Continue with Apple: one tap, using your Apple ID. Apple can hide your email from us if you like.
• Email and password: enter your name, email and a password.

Then add your handicap index (if you have one) and your phone number (10 digits, like 555-201-7788) so friends can find you.

Create your profile: the welcome screen has a Create your profile card. Add your name, phone and your Handicap Index (or average score) in one place.

Phone number already in use? Each phone number can be linked to one account. If you see already linked to another Big Show Golf account, contact support and we'll move it to you.

Your golf: the first time you sign in, the app asks for your USGA Handicap Index (find it in the GHIN app) and, optionally, your GHIN number, which stays private. No Handicap Index? Enter your average 18-hole score instead. Net games use it to estimate your strokes until you have an index; it shows as an estimate (for example "~15.1 est."), it's never a Handicap Index, and the organizer can change it. You can change either one any time in Profile → Edit profile.

Already have an email account?

Sign in with your email first. Then go to Profile → Connect Apple ID. After that, Continue with Apple opens the same account, in the app and on the website. Don't make a second account with Apple, or your games will be split between two accounts.

On the website

The same account works at bigshowgolf.com for the Manager, where organizers set up games, groups and leagues on a bigger screen.
