Joining a game

Join with the invite link, the game code, or an invitation in the app.

There are three ways in. Use whichever one you were sent.

With the invite link

Tap the link the organizer texted or emailed you.

App installed: the game opens in Big Show Golf. Sign in if asked, and you're in.
App not installed yet: the link opens the game's page on bigshowgolf.com. Tap Get the app, install it, and open it. The app picks up your invite the first time it opens, and asks you to sign in or create an account to join.

With the game code

Every game has a 6-character code, like TWL9QX.

Open the app and go to the Play tab.
Tap Enter Join Code.
Type the code and tap Join.

From an invitation

If the organizer added you by name, phone or email, you get an invitation in the app (and a notification if they're turned on). Open it and tap Accept. Tap Decline if you can't make it, and the organizer will see that.

Signing up for a spot

Some games have tee times with open sign-ups. Tap I'm in to take a spot, or I'm out to give it up. When every spot is taken, new sign-ups join the waitlist and move up automatically when someone drops out.

No app at all?

The organizer can send you a browser score link that lets you enter your scores on any phone's web browser, no account needed.

Didn't get an invitation? Ask the organizer to check the phone number or email they used for you, or just use the game code.

No iPhone? Join on the web

Open the invite link on any phone, or go to bigshowgolf.com/join and type the 6-character game code, then tap Join on the web. Enter your name, plus your handicap index in a net game (don't know it? ask the organizer, or check the GHIN app). Add your phone or email if you'd like next week's invite; with an email we also send you your game link.

You land on your game page: the live leaderboard, team standings, skins, close-ups, your tee time and your scorecard. It refreshes on its own.

Keep score: tap it to enter scores for your group, hole by hole. Scores you enter with no signal are saved on your phone and sent when you're back in range. Or let your group's scorer do it in the app.
Turn on alerts: get skins, close-up knockouts and birdies as notifications, like the app. Works in Chrome on Android.
Install: on Android, tap Install (or ⋮ → Add to Home screen in Chrome). Big Show Golf then opens from your home screen, straight to your games.

Already added by the organizer? Join on the web with the same name and you take your spot instead of being added twice. Joined before on another phone? Use the same phone number or email and we'll get you back to your game.
