Divisions, flights and tournaments

Club championships, flighted events and charity scrambles: divisions by tee and gross or net, flights by handicap, paid places, skins and shotgun starts.

Set it up

On the website, start a new game with Stroke Play (or Team game for a scramble) and turn on Tournament with divisions. Start from Club championship, Flighted event or Charity scramble, then change anything.

Each division has its own tee, gross or net scoring, buy-in, paid places and skins. Paid places can be a % of the pot, dollar amounts or prizes like gift cards. A gross division can also pay net places (a player can't win both).

Flights

A division can be split into flights by handicap: choose the number of flights or the players per flight. The lowest handicaps go in Flight 1. Players with the same handicap at a flight's edge go to the higher flight. Each flight has its own pot, places and skins.

For a charity scramble, each tee time is a team, flighted by team handicap (20/15/10/5% or 25/20/15/10% of the players' Course Handicaps, lowest first). Name teams on the tee sheet.

The tee sheet

Under Divisions & flights, pick each player's division; their tee is set from it. Move anyone to another flight, mark players WD (withdrew) or DQ (disqualified), and untick Skins for anyone not buying in.

Turn on Shotgun start to number tee times 1A, 1B, 2A… (one, two or three groups a hole), and change any start. Print Cart signs from the game page.

Ties

Choose at setup: Playoff for 1st (you pick the playoff winner on the game page; other places by matching cards), Match cards (back 9, back 6, back 3, then the last hole; net scores in net divisions), or Split the money.

Results

The game page, the app and TV mode show a tab for each division and every flight's standings. Money shows as "if it ended now" until the round is finished. TV mode never shows money. Record longest drive and closest to the pin winners on the game page.
