Playing Sets

How the Sets format works: 3- or 6-hole sets, the round total, and junk like birdies, skins and sandies.

Sets splits the round into small tournaments. Every set has its own pot, so there's always something to play for, even after a bad hole.

How it's won

Junk

Each piece of junk is turned on separately with its own amount. When you win one, every other player pays you that amount.

JunkHow it's won
BirdiesA birdie (net birdie in a net game). Worked out from the scores
EaglesAn eagle. If eagles are off, an eagle pays as a birdie
SkinsWin a hole outright. Ties carry over, so the next outright win takes them all
Closest to the pinClosest on the holes the organizer picks. Tap it in on the hole
SandiesPar or better after being in a bunker. Tap it in on the hole (Sandy?)

Example: four players, $2 sets, $1 birdies. Win a set and you take $8. Make a birdie and the other three pay you $1 each, so you get $3.

When the round is finished, the recap in the chat lists who won each set and what it was worth (including any tied sets carried into it), who won the total, and everyone's net. The shared results card and results page rank players by net money won, with their score beside it.

Changing the stakes

The game manager can change set length, amounts and junk in Game Settings until the round has been played. After that, the money is locked so results can't change.
